What is a Public Service Announcement? If you don't know what it is, Google it. In your own words, now tell me what it is? What are they used for? Can you recall an example of a PSA you've seen before?
A Public Service Announcement is a message to the public that do not cost money. They are used to raise awareness and change public attitude toward a social issue. An example of a PSA I have seen is drug awareness commercials on TV, this commercial would state how bad drugs are for you and they would sorta of over exaggerate how bad they are for you. Also I see a lot of texting and driving commercials that inform you on how dangerous it can be.
